FLATPACK CHAIR
The TOKYO 2020 Olympics needed temporary furniture, and assembling small pieces of cardboard to make furniture for a large number of people takes time and resources and can be confusing to assemble.
PAKU is a flat-pack chair made of one piece of cardboard, so it is easy to assemble and recycle because it is all folded from one piece.
Design Process
Inspiration from Origami. Origami is folded with one piece of paper so I wanted to use this concept in my flatpack chair.
A prototype made with chipboard. Used three total pieces to make this chair.
